Dr Amanda Craft
I’m Dr. Amanda Craft, a financial therapist and strategic consultant with a passion for helping individuals, couples, families, professionals, and business owners navigate the emotional and psychological complexities of wealth. With a PhD in Financial Planning focusing on the application of social psychology, my work bridges the gap between money and mind guiding clients to overcome financial stress, wealth guilt, decision paralysis, and relationship conflicts around money.
Over the years working in Australian financial services, I’ve seen that money isn’t just about numbers, it’s emotional, personal, and deeply tied to our identity and behaviour. I saw clients who needed someone to sit with them and help them explore why they struggled with strong feelings around money, not just tell them to be rational or what to spend their money on. Even those who are financially secure can struggle with anxiety, self-doubt, or guilt when making financial decisions. That’s where financial therapy comes in, it helps you develop clarity, confidence, and control over your financial life, so money becomes a source of freedom rather than stress. It helps you explore why you react the way you do around money and financial decisions, and shows you how you can make changes.
At Auriavia, I offer a safe, judgment-free space for you to redefine your relationship with money, align financial decisions with your values, and build a sense of long-term financial well-being. Whether you’re navigating wealth transitions, seeking to improve financial communication in your relationships, or simply want to feel more empowered with your money, I’m here to guide you on that journey.
